Arowana Land
Hi all,

Request your help in identifying the arowana breed. He was bought in Indonesia and the shopkeeper claimed he was a chilli red variant. My dad did not know much about it; but as it came with a certificate, he trusted and bought it.
The certificate seems fake, with super red mentioned.
It is from Pt Istana Arwana Indah. (Looks different from the one available on google)

I strongly feel he is a green as there are no visible redness in the fins.

There seems to be a greenish hue (not blue) on his body. He is not with me and I may not be able to comment more on it.

He has travelled for 19 hours straight and has not eaten anything for the last 3 days. Will that cause loss of Color?

Kindly help out in id’ing.

Each fish has a unique numbered chip which is listed on the certificate. Just contact the farm with chip number if you want to see if it's genuine.

i highly doubt your red is from istana arwana ... however the fish itself could be a real super red but with that kind dark pics we wont be able to tell for sure

This is my chilli red on certificate it show super red
Super red mean it is a mix with a chilli red and blood red. They put a bunch of chilli and a bunch of blood together to breed so they don’t kno what the breed really is so they name it super red. Some time it could be a full blood or some time full chilli but most time it’s a super red it does not look like a blood or chilli but a super red

Colouration looks like a banjar red but the long body length is typical of a blood red aro. Only time will tell if its a super red or not; wait for the cheek cracks
