Please help me ID my Altifrons

It's basically a guessing game when it comes to which variant. To me it resembles the Rio Negro population.

Here is a thread of several different alitfrons variants from Andy (ajot) that you can assure are labelled correctly

Here is a site with lots of pictures, the second post down on the main page shows a lot of pictures of altifrons, cf. altifrons and aff. altifrons from different rivers. Though in my opinion the images aren't good enough to base a good ID.

The problem with the location is, if you don't know then you don't know and guessing isn't a good solution. They are very nice looking fish regardless. Hope that helps,

Yes, it helps alot. Thanks. I guess your right, there is no way of knowing exactly which Altifrons mine are, unless I knew where they were caught. I'm happy with them either way.
