Could be, I just thought it was the same fish as the second pic. most likely not a piraiba, brachyplatystoma filamentosum, but a b. capapretum which looks very similar but doesn't grow near as large.
recently I saw someone on this forum say they are more expensive than asian arowanas.. I dont know why? are they that difficult to obtain from the wild? My source over here claims to be able to supply them.
