Hi everyone, I really need some advice
I have a Flower Horn Cichlid, she’s about 2 years old. I believe she has Swim Bladders Disease which I have treated the tank, fed her the medicine with brine and gave her two Epsom Salt baths. I have not fed her for a couple of weeks. She started off swimming weird not able to keep her balance and tilting to the side, then she stood at the top for the longest and eventually flipped upside down completely and just floated around the tank as if she was dead. She then dropped to the bottom completely Upside down and stood like that for awhile. After I did the medicine and all she improved quite a bit. She turned back upright and has been upright since but now she stays at the bottom of the tank. She can’t swim up, it’s like gravity pulls her back down when she tries. Today she seems worse, she’s at the bottom corner of the tank and is leaning against it. She seems like she may have a hard time Breathing as she isn’t breathing how she normally breathes. She can barely swim now and she just looks miserable. I have no idea what else to do at This point, I’m scared she might not make it. She has this lump on the bottom side on the right of her around her belly that seems to have gotten bigger since a few days ago. I’m not sure if I can be a tumor or parasite or what. Her scales on the left side seem to be peeling or something. I just want her to get better. Any recommendations or advice would be greatly appreciated. I have a video of her in the Epsom salt bath I’m not sure what came out of her but there’s that little drop of something in the bucket but I’m sure that’s good being Epsom salt bath helps and all. I did get the water tested as well and fish store associate said the water levels was normal and all.

I believe Gizmo has swim bladder disease not 100% sure. She also has this little dot/mark/possibly a small hole on her forehead area too that I didn’t see before. I would greatly appreciate any help or advice before it’s too late. I really want her to survive. I used Kanaplex in the tank and also mixed in the brine

The fact that your fish cannot balance itself in the water could be swim-bladder disease; but I noticed something in your pictures...The scales of your fish appear to be sticking out or "pineconing" around the swollen area of your fish. This is a common symptom of "dropsy". Dropsy is common in fish like bettas. I lost my 3 year old Half-moon King Betta, and my 2 year old Dwarf Blue Guorami to dropsy.I'm not going to try and explain it all, due to there being better sources of information; but in my experience, it unfortunately ends the fatality. Try researching dropsy and cures. Unfortunately I discovered it too late, and from your pictures I think you did as well. I'm not 100% sure this is the case; but it is highly likely. Hope this helps :)

With dropsy the ballooning effect causing the pineapple scale popping typically happens symmetrically because it is caused by internal infection that affects the osmoregulation within the fish. Intestinal bloat is the same, usually symmetrical in its appearance. Since it is only on 1 side I think it is more likely a tumor and the loss of balance is caused by compression of the swim bladder internally. You could try Kanamycin if you have it on hand,.
My (unfortunate) suggestion, because this fish appears to be suffering terribly, is to euthanize her mate 🥺 😥
