just tested the water:
Ammonia: 0.25
Nitrate: between 0 and 5ppm
and couldnt find the nitrite drops.

nothing happened to the tank... just regular shrimp feeding everyother day and weekly 20% WC

thats not great but not that bad.When was your last water change? don't you have an aro in the tank by the way?The aro would show before the bass as far as bad water.Did you have another fish in the tank die?Take roll call !!!with the nitrates that low and amonia a little high thats strange with nothing else happening?

both.... he is laying on his side under some floating plants i have in the tank...

Is this fish relatively new? Those water parameters shouldn't be killing any of your stock and there are more sensitive fish in there than the bass.
