Please help my dat!

My dat has been rubbing against things a lot lately, the water has been tested and everything is fine, we have buffered the ph and treated with melafix but now he has got 3 small raised lumps on his head, im sorry i cant get any pics as my cam isnt up to picking that much detail out, we are going to take him out of the main tank and quarentine him tomorrow, please help

why are you messng with the PH, what was wrong with it.
i would move it to the other tank as you stated but acclimatise it first.
what do the lumps look like, placement,size etc

The ph was a little low so we brought it up to 7 (this has been done over the last couple of weeks) the lumps are small, about 2mm in diameter each, he has got them on both sides of his head just behind his eyes, if they was on a human id say they were insect bites.
