Please help my fish! Emergency.

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Thank you so much. The nitrite/nitrate levels were a little too high but we're changing 5 gallons of water right now.
Any other suggestions or questions that can help?

Im sorry to say but not many fish come back from listing upside down.

I don't know what size the tank is but a few gallons probably won't make a huge impact on the nitrate toxicity in the water.

Usually if I suspect a problem I do a large water change like greater than 50% of the tank's volume, making sure that the water is treated with dechloritinator and of the same temp of the tank.

See how he fares until morning and try doing another water change

Thank you...it hurts to hear the first part but I'm thankful you're trying.
Have you seen my photo of him?

Iy was most likely to late as soon as he went upside down but for future notice the first thing to do be fore adding chemicals (medicine) is do a 50% water change. Water changes help with many many illnesses. Then do specific research on what the symptoms are my next step would have been adding salt.
