Hi there, I put my 2 7" tems in my big tank today with a 16" silver aro an 8" florida gar and a 14" RT giant gourami. They seemed to get really stressed in with the big fish and after about 10 mins of me watching them one of the tems started to lose control of his swimming and was drifting around a little. I got scared and put them both back in their original tank.
One of them is fine but the other was tipping upside down and had no control over his swimming. I have increased the airation in his tank and I gently cupped him in my hand and held him in front of the flow from the filter to get some air though his gills.
He has now regained some control after a couple of hours, he's not tipping upside down any more only tilting a little occasionally and he is swimming around but having trouble stopping himself from moving. Also he was swimming around in small circles too.
Please help me is this a serious problem or will he get better in time. Is there any thing I can do to help like add salt or anyhting.
PLEASE HELP I WILL BE DEVASTATED IF I LOSE MY BASS!
