PLEASE HELP! NEED SERIOUS ADVICE!...IDK what is growing on my driftwood...

My tank has a pump current system in it that has caused a growth of some type of algae or something could someone please let me know what it is and if its bad or if i can leave it alone or what to do or anything PLEASE HELP!!!!

maybe some sort of fungus or algae? did you treat your bogwood before placing it into the tank?

I bought it from a very respected fish dealer from my area ad it was sandblasted before but does this look like it will pose a threat to my fish?

It's normal, don't worry about it. It's usually gone within a month or so, and of course you can clean it off if you want.

It is common and it will go away in about a month like FSM said. It won't hurt your fish. Some fish actually feed off of it.
