So long as the vital organs havent been penetrated it should recover ,however if its punctured the obdomen then prepare for the worst,the fact its bled profusely would suggest its hit the muscle,i had this happen to a ray many years ago,it was in the muscle,it bled like hell but it quickly recovered.

i would maybe seperate the rays also. even though hes injured, he might still try to breed her and she might stab him again.

we just heard a story like this a few months ago.

so far so good, he's not that active, but can ya blame him, i think he might survive, only time will tell
