Please help! ray with strange hump.

Are the rays brother and sister? It is very strange that 2 animals have the same defect. The white poop means most of the time extreem stress. How long do you have these animals?? Are they wild cought or breeded animals. When breeded with the same parent could be a burth defect in the stomic. Give something else to feed as shrimp. Leaveshrimp out of the menu for a while see if this changes the metter. Sold in the water is ok or the time being.

Thanks Frank. Yes, they are brother and sister. I have them for 10 weeks and they are captive bred. You said about stess make me think that the bigger polkadot sometimes bullied them while feeding. Water quality is very good and I change water every other day. Too bad I lost pearl pub couple of hours ago. It develop the same symptom but he didn't swell that much (left side, of course) I put him in hospital tank and notice that his under was a bit pink. I add some salt and he last only couple of hour. He is only 7 inch across. After he pass away, I see that his under is very pink. Polkadot in the same tank still enjoy eating, though.

yea, white poop is never a good sign. for saltwater, it means high stress or something.

Feed your ray blood worms for a few day's to see if it changes the poop!!
