I agree with delgado... How big is your tank?

BTW the oscars probibly not trying to eat it.

its a 200 gallon tank that i just got. i have another 10 gallon which i guess ill put the pacu in. i know that its not gonna eat it but im sure that it hurts when its fins get nipped. thanks for your help

That pacu will outgrow BOTH tanks.

i know. both of my fish are very small right now i just got em. im in college right now and have the 10 gall in my dorm room and the 200 at home. as soon as i get out and get a good job im gonna invest in a huge one. i feel really bad putting the pacu in my 10 but its better to be in there than in the hell hole of a tank with my oscar

Just put some hiding spots in the 200. Plenty big enough for the two to co-exist when very small.

how do you figure????????!

:iagree:
If you really feel bad do yourself and the fish a favor and take it back... If not don't torture it in the 10 g watch them fight to the death, thats what monster fish do :) Only the vicious survive...
