ok I am very new to "fish tanks/ fish".

I have 2 iridescent sharks and one is fine but the other one is acting weird.

It will lay on the bottom upside down like its dead then swim up, then just fall., very inactive, swimming upside down, weird not normal things, the other one is fine and they both have been it there for about 2 months.

Thanks for any help.

i have about four of them and my biggest (about 9in) when he was little he used to lie on the bottom all the time but once i got him in a school of them he started swimming and eating like you would not believe.

1. maybe needs a few more members in his group.
2. depending on what size tank its in it might not be swimming because the tanks to small.
3. sometimes its just the iridescents pesonallity but youll notice as it gets bigger it will start swimming more and more.

i had one that would play dead when he got scared. when i first got him and put him in my tank he swam around strange and would lie at the bottom motionless and at times he would sit in floating plants and look dead. he wouldnt eat for a few days and finally started to act more normal and began to eat a ridiculous amount. so my point is they are a fish with a really odd personality
