We all love to play the "Sex My Jag" game, but venting is the real way to sex most fish. 6 inches is perfect size to vent. I can walk you through venting if you like.
The body shape look similar to my jag at that size so i would say it's a male. Here is funny comment from LFS and that's how I got my female Jag..."oh, we got these in when they are babies and this one grow fast and biggest in the pack so it should be a male" (3.5 inches) and 3 weeks later I got Jag frys... LMAO. The thing here is some male Jag losing their dark bar slower than some other Jags so venting is 100% to get it right while by looking at body shape, body pattern, fish behave can identify its sex too but there change we will guess it wrong
