PLEASE help with spotted gar info!!!

i think lol. as far as can tell since i am only going to have a big indoor pond with other species and nothing really to grow it in (only a spare 4ft dont know if that will be ok please tell me if it will be) if i want one i should get quite a big 1 that can go straight into the pond.

if i am understanding right what size would i need to be able to go into a 640 gallon pond

You will be good to go if you pick up a 30 cm fish for a pond like that and of that size.

i do not have anything else yet iam still in the planning stages of my indoor pond but i am hopfully buying it next week and setting up as soon as possible,

the fish i would like to keep will be a red belly pacu, lima shovelnose, 1 or 2 oscars a plec and obviously a spotted gar.

if any of these fish will not be compatible with a spotted gar or unsutible for this size pond please tell me.

Good info does actually exist elsewhere and it is not that us from elsewhere do not help you (MFK) out to fill in gaps all the time .. If you remove the Polypterus's from this forum and this subject you are sentencing it to death by stupidity...You have no actual expert staff or individuals that can handle Gar related information (Jordan however as a CLO member should be taking our place very soon on here) You should be thanking us for taking the time to help MFK members on most of these gar related issues.

I ask you the same question. Why do you constantly walk the line of trolling and helping people? I will answer that for you: you know exactly where that line is, and do it on purpose. There are plenty of gar keepers on this site. If you really want to help that person, and you think it is beneficial to the member to check another site, PM that member and give them a link to that info. Better yet, post that information here and help everyone out. If not, follow your original link.

Wurm you remind me so much of Machete on WW..you just can't handle the world with anything other than your own isolated little world..What are you MFK's little pitbull???...your pseudo nationalistic, pack mentality tendencies are overwhelming to the point you prefer destruction over the reasons why anyone cares to come to these forums...I'm sorry but I do not share your nationalist ideas and tendencies so I openly visit many forums and show no favoritism for any..(Some just get more and better quality out of me)..

Give it a rest and find some maturity and most of all go out and visit the world....It is a big place and there is a lot out there to explore and learn...
