PLEASE HELP

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Fish can go with out food for a week or more. Just make sure you keep up with water changes if your feeding more than ususal trying to get the new fish to eat.

Since you don't have a test kit are you doing W/C's? and at what frequency?

I was post sniped!

And are you removing the food if it is not eaten in an hour?

the hikari frozen bloodworms float right?(like any other frozen BW)
would the sharks and cichlids come to the top to eat?
what time of the day would be best?

would the live BW work? they sink right? how much should I put in? I'm worried some won't get eaten and will live on in my tank...looking like leaches or something

Why was my post deleted? I suggested a live worm feeder. Does someone have a problem with that???? :chillpill: on the delete post button....

Your fish have been stressed out by having a move to a new tank from their nice comfortable old one... it's understanable that they aren't going to eat right away... Take it easy.. stop spending money on wasting food for no reason, get your butt down to the LFS and get a test kit...test your water... see where yous stand on that and then get back to us ... (Personally thinking that it's an amonia issue at this point, since you've added a heck of a bio load into the tank)

what do you mean basslover34?
when you say ammonia because i added heck of a bio load in the tank??

biological media or just alot of fish?
since ianab told me biological media doesn't produce ammonia, it's just the fish do and the new media can't convert it

ok i got a few test kits.
strips and this master one i place in the tank.

it was a light green on the strip..i think safe or something above(bad)
and then after adding prime to the tank it turned yellow safe on the master board.

how long does it take for fish to get used to the tank and start eating?
when will they come up to the top to eat?

also i read that ID sharks have bad eye sight but are they like blind? can they not see the flakes above(which the former owner grew them to 6") i mean if not, they should smell it right?
