also i have a jaguar i would like to put in there, and take out the cons and JD's but i don't know how that will work
 
:D quick update. did a major redecorating job on the tank and the oscars have stopped fighting :woot: i put in some driftwood, and my husband made a cool cave for the smaller fish out of slate plexiglass and silicone, the whole tank appears to be much happier, and my cons have gone back to digging nests in the gravel. also did a water change but i do that regularly. anyhow thanx all for the advice :)
