Ann do you think this could be something to worry about? Again the other bichir's death could have more likely been petsmart syndrome or a bad feeder or w.e...

I'm just drawing the the two together in my head...

By the looks of it not many people have this kind of "energizer bunny" bichir issue....
 
Personaly i don't think its a major issue as long as evryone eats I had a juvenile del
that used to put on quite a show for my female P.p.polli

Then again I have seen bichirs "fight" and they do bite each other.

There is no biting involved though, he simply throws himself on the little one and "head bangs".
Bichirs can be very territorial. Click on my bichir fight video below and you'll see. They were lip lock like betta fighting. I think your bichirs will be fine as long as you're not seeing biting. I have a crazy polli palmas that swim across the tank and then swim downwrd slamming everyone into the gravel.:ROFL:
