ok thanks....a small female flowerhorn should do ok right as long as I give him his hiding spot???

Be careful with the FH, especially the females. I have one and I'm lucky I can keep her with 2 pictus catfish and 5 clown loaches. They are highly aggressive, and will seek out those who she feels that is invading or threatening her territory

cool thanks for the advice...Yeah she brings out her trimac bars when he gets near her bedding that she mad...and nips him once in a while but she wont activley seek him out and chase him to bit him she just nips when he gets too close...will this change when she gets 10 to 12 inches or so?

mine makes his own caves in the sand and the driftwood, he has 3 fav spots, getting him more driftwood every trip to LFS!
