!!!Please HELP!!!

Hi all,
I recently got 4 small tadpole who are currently in a 3.5 gallon tank with a filter. I also got some mud/sand from were I found them. Will the small current hurt them? How long will it take for the water to get clear? Should I turn off the filter?

I would remove the dirt/sand it will only cause you problems and makes it harder to clean. The filter shouldn't be bad for them as long as it is not an extremely strong current. Also depending on the species they will need a bigger aquarium and eventually need some land to emerge on when they begin to metamorph.

Ok thanks. They are leopard frog tadpoles. How long will they be ok in a 3.5 or 5 gallon tank?

setup a regular aquarium and take care of them just as you would take care of a fish.

keep them in a bare bottom tank. way easier to maintain.

feed them sinking fish food.
