buy him some red clawed crabs take off the claws first though
You expect a retic of that size to be able to eat a red clawed crab?

Anyways, basically, blackworms almost always does the trick. If you cant find those, next best thing is chopped up night crawlers. Also, its not always a good thing that a ray is constantly active. Ray's tend to be more active a couple days before they curl and die.

Alright thanks for the replies. ! will definitely go get some worms and cut them up. I will let you guys know how it goes. His tail isn't that thick compared to other healthy rays. If you can find my other post "Just got a new teacup" you can see a couple pictures of him. The water looks clear AND I already tested and everything is normal.

Get live blackworms now. If you don't find a lfs that sells them, order them online today. Your ray is very thin.
I recently bought a retic that wouldn't eat anything. It took a week before he started eating the blackworms. Working now to get him to eat other things.

Alright so I got some nightcrawlers and chopped them up, he wouldn't even move when I dropped them right next to him. But the other day I dumped some more blood worms in there and he gobbled them up! But now he wont touch them again! Its so wierd. It's like he's just not hungry. But I know he is because of how skinny he is

Just be patient. You can try feeding him with the lights off. My rays only like eating when its dark for some odd reason. Just try different things but be persistent.

Again, good luck!

I'd throw blackworms and ghost shrimp in, dim/cover tank and hope for best.

You said the water's fine, 0 Ammonia and 0 Nitrite? What is Nitrate?

Did the ray eat when you bought it?
