i HiGHLY HiGHLY APPRECiATE iT. :cool-1:

_____________________________________________________
i was flippen out this morning at 8 aM.
got a voice recorded fone call from SAMUEL L JACkSON~
about his new movie "snakes on planes"

i started laughing HYSTERiCALLY.

woke up... looked at my TANk.

AND DATNOIDS WERE DOWN.
:nilly:
i screamed so many things.
i dont remember. mostly jiberish and cuss words.
:eek3:
then at that moment.
i jumped at my FISH NET.
grabed a bucket.
and MOVED THE DATNOIDS into my 40 GAL GLASS FLOWHORN TANk.
with a divider. [i made within 2.5 mins... in panic mode]
and i started to call my buddies.

made this post.
and proceeded to do a massive water change. [75%-80%]
i wanted to get whatever the hell was in the WATER~ OUT!
then after reading a few reply post.
i knew what i needed. and got ready to go.

when i came back home.
1 datnoid was totally OUT THE GAME [dead]
his GILLS WERE ALL RED AND STICkING OUTWARDS.
and a fish was in its mouth..... and it was ALL BLACK. [the datnoid]

found the dead clown loaches. and archer. and needlenose.

removed those suckers.
and i started to read the back of the chemi-pure.

opened my filter yadda yadda yadda.
put in the bag. moved some stuff around in the flower horn tank.

and i sat. depressed.
thinking, maybe...
my greed of having my set-up COMPLETE-
by september, was something foolish.
that maybe my GREED was a factor to my RUiN.
maybe... i shoulda... just... taken it step by step.
:siGh:
im still praying for the last thinbar datnoid.

FOR THE LAST QUESTION~
:nilly:

when should i take this CHEMi-PURE BAG out of my canister filter?

or am i to leave it in?

any answers?
ODDBALL?

You can leave it in there for the next 3 months and it'll keep working for you. In the future, you might consider keeping a jar of zeolite granules around "just in case". Zeolite will remove ammonia plus has the added advantage of being rechargeable through soaking in a warm salt solution (4 tablespoonfuls of non-iodized salt in 8 ounces of warm tap water (approximately 48°C/120°F), soak the zeolite for at least 2 hours and rinse lightly in tap water before re-use. Zeolite will gradually become fouled with organic matter, and therefore should be replaced when performance declines.).

mhmmm 3 months?

It's absorption abilities will be either severely degraded or gone after 3 months in the tank. Better to pull it and replace it, or simply remove and discard it, after 3 months of use.
