hi,praziquantral is a good med for flukes.metridonzol is good 4 int parasites.i use 2 have discus so these were used.look up dose rates first as i dont remember them.could your oscar have something lodged in his throat?i lost a lovely festae which choked on a large live shrimp once.one more thing, live food thats from a clean scource is a good way 2 get fish eating & dont med ur fish 2 much as some meds efect others so try & allow time between meds.good luck.

dont mix meds only one at a time. Do you have a recovery tank? go totally cheap less than 100$ should get er done. it will be a wise investment. that way sick can be in isolation with dim lights the whole nine. and that alone will help keep him calm. cross your fingers on this one. do you have veggies somewhere in his diet? varied diet will insure that aspect can be eliminated. look real close for wounds. cycle the new tank and in the future you will have a recovery plan.

Today im going to try general cure for about 3-4 days .His diet is hikari biogold omega one and krill .

All the fish have bben in the tank 2years no new fish added .I used jungle labs tablets for three days the parasite ones then did 50% water change then 3 more days of the same meds .No carbon in any of the filters durring the treaments .Would gill flukes make him loose appetite ??? what meds would be good ??

a combo treatment of melafix and pimafix has always done wonders for me, although i don't think 3 weeks of not eating is the end of the world, as long as he seems normal otherwise. still, the mela/pimafix wouldn't hurt.
