But yeah all my other fish are in great shape very healthy eat regularly very active. I mean the red tail himself is very active he's friendly he eats regular Lily and a good amount when he does eat. It's just one is curled like an half circle but the other one makes like a 90 degree swing. And it's starting to get in his Gill flap. He doesn't seem to have too big of problems getting around is just a swims with a wobble. He pretty much has to swim entirely with his tail

Since it's a very large tank and I have a pretty large sump underneath that are both open top just by evaporation I have to add almost 2 gallons a day but I vacuum the gravel and add a little extra water once a week. Honestly I've never really had to check my stuff I don't use any chemicals I have large containers and buckets I feel and let sit out over time so it's all natural it's really clear water I've never had a problem with any of my fish. I do have a kid I guess I could check everything
Yeah bust out that kit and check your ammonia and nitrate levels.Tank size,clearness of water and evaporation have no bearing on water quality and dissolved fish wastes.You have to get onto some sort of water change routine in order to get those substances out of your tank.
