So this is my hybrid pBass had him for 3 months
before this one passed today Aug 30 2020
I had an Azul that went through the same phase
had ich , then started flashing , then one eye starting getting blind, then fins look looked bad , then slim coat or possibly fungal ? , not sure what was going on ..
I tried seachem, API products. did 30-50% water changes daily and even added salt and replaced what salt I've taken out and brought temp up 86-87F .. I've tested my water
parameters where 0-.25 ammonia 0 nitrite 5.0-10 nitrate
been treating this specific pbass for about a month before it flipped over . I have 8 more pbass but they are not showing any symptoms at the moment .. I feed them dry krill , or fresh frozen telapia that I get from Safeway .
if your an experience pbass personnel please give me some input , was planing to grow these out . pH from the tap is naturally 8.2 , not sure if me living in CO plays a major factor in altitude with this fish since some shop and people have these fish .
