My brother thought it might have flowerhorn in it too. The pics on the hybrid thread of the jack dempsey x texas do look very similar. I don't know where that picture came from or if it is truly a dempsey×texas cross but I am curious to see what anyone else has to say

I think it could have FH in it too. Here is my old pure h. cyano for a comparison.

That looks exactly like one I have...mine was given to me as jd x texas also. The one I have also has the black spot in the dorsal. I thought female at first but then it successfully bred with my female fenestratus, so that cleared it up to be male.
