honestly i think theyre both farmed hybrids, a mix of the two. i dont see anything in either one that shows pure mono or ocell. as stated, a mono will have 3 short bars that do not pass the lateral line with a lot of black markings.

ocells can look pretty different, but a real ocell will have blood red eyes and 3 very faint bars. the 3rd bar towards the tail is usually more of a "spot" up near the doral fin. here, maybe these pics will help...

thanks man, the one in the top of the second picture has slightly redish eyes, and during transportation they even seemed more red. But i bet hybrid is correct.
