Nope.... not a Cincta. They don't have tail spots.

I think its a Crenicichla sveni. They get about 8-10" long.

doh! I did it again!

I didn't remember cinctas having the big oscellus on the tail. And I have 2 cinctas! Next time I am going to actually look at my fish before I do a comparison!

I still say it is NOT a cincta. I'm sticking with my original vote. (I'm just not going to try to back it up with anything.... I just keep screwing that up!)
