thanks mike--ive never owned any victorians (or even tangs-) ive kept strictly malawi for the last 3-4 years. right now the little guy is swimming with the flock and doesnt show any aggression but he is still young--ill keep an eye on him and if i have to put him in another tank i will..
fishman- my fish looks almost exactly like a few pics ive seen of the ruby green--thanks! i was reading up on flamebacks last nite, but they have barring on the face, and my fish has absolutely none--just the thick black horizontal stripe on the body..
from what ive read on the ruby greens they are peaceful, but should not be kept with mbuna in the long run even though their diets are similar so if i see that he isnt getting along or is getting picked on ill remove him.. he is quite a beauty
