yeah this is def a washed out festae or amphilophus, have no clue where you guys are getting geo from, the entire body shape is wrong for a geo! i'm leaning more towards festae but there is something about the striping pattern along the head that seems more amphilophus to me for some reason.... def post some more pictures once it gets settled into your tank OP

yeah +1, i think its some kind of mutt, not a festae with those spots going along its side, with that face i kind of want to say it may be like a snook/barred midas cross but most likely its just a mixture of some kinds of amphilophus (we at least can say the genus for sure but species looks like you wont know till its grown a bit lol)
