If its a male try to get him with a female bp or other red fader fish. thats what I would do. Fish tend to like others that look like them though, Ime my jack dempsies and texas always want to get together because they're both pearly

Maybe that's why he didn't like the bp that's in the tank with him...I'm also growing out a fader fh...hopefully it's a female...
