Maybe granulosis.

I'm not sure which species it is.It sure would be nice if vendors would use proper names for the fish that they sell rather than "one size fits all" trade names such as "Bacu".I have seen the name attached to a few different species.

The second fish looks weird to say the least. Got more photos or a video? I'd almost agree with your hybrid guess but it's too easy and ambiguous. Gotta try to match it to genuine species first and exhaust all options before moving on to hybrids...

Which reminds me: have you purposefully not mentioned what happened with your Platydoras or some such "bacu", mis-offered as Lithodoras, or is it a simple oversight? We still don't know the ending of that story... and BTW how the fish is doing?

Hard to tell from photo, but not sure of any hybrid doras. Doesn’t look like any other I know other than pterodoras and don’t think it’s Rivasi. I may still guess granulosus. Will bow to Victor on this one.
