Agree with GFK on the weirdness.

There a definite resemblance to granulosus and definite deviation from one. If not another Pterodoras species, it could be just a mutant, deformed granulosus, or, as a hailmary, a hybrid.

Indeed an opinion from professional ichthyologists on Planet Catfish, such as Dr. Heok Hee Ng aka Silurus, would be utterly interesting to me to know.

No reply means no qualified eye has seen it yet. With PCF the right info can come in 1 minute or in 1 month. You never know.
