what do you mean hang out like that contender?

It's definitely not a bleheri haha, it's gone from 3 inches to 9 inches in about 3months :D

And it's also savaged anything I've put in there.

Try this site,it gives ray counts etc for snakeheads, unless someone can i.d. it for certain it will probably be the only way.http://snakeheads.org/ Helps if you speak German.Did you see my post on losing the 2 albinos after 2 days. The store has managed to " find" some more. The importer had 5 more they found in the filter.Apparently they have thrived on all the food washing through.Getting 2 replacements after Ive checked them out.

voila - sorry about the pic, I have no digital camera.

the most common albino is striata but it could be a stewarti
hard to tell from that picture

i meant it's just kind of lounging on that object.
but now i see it's a heater, so it makes sense.

yeah, my striata would alway be on the bottom of the tank.

This one almost always stays on the bottom. Occasionally perches on something like a heater, but never cruises the tank like a micro.

You know what, I think you may be right. I've looked at some stewartii photos like this one

And they have a huge round tail like mine, mine also has the same "folds" of the tail, like a fan, the striata does not have this.

Are stewartii meant to be aggressive? This is one is EXTREMELY aggressive.

Shame it's albino, the colour on stewartiis is beautiful :)

Damn, I'm sure mine is a stewartii rather than a striata now, it's tail in the flesh looks just like these, big and round with fan folds.
