Please ID my Fish

Might Not want to mix your scat with fronts. scats are a brackish fish.
 
Scats are the garbage cans of the BW world, like goldfish & Oscars. They eat a lot (like lots of vegatable matter but will eat whatever you throw at them) & poop tons! They need a very large tank, as they will grow the size of a dinner plate & lots of dilution for all that waste. They also prefer marine conditions as adults.

Why is there no substrate or decor in that tank? What are your plans for these fish?
 
i found out this was a ruby scat.. just not sure with it.. i have 5 of this, but 4 of them already died.. (sad).. by the way, i just dont like substrates and decors in my tank.. want to be plain and simple... easy to clean and maintain.. and this is one my grow up/quarantine tanks... :)
 
Keeping fish happy isn't always about what you like & what is easiest to clean up now, is it? as is has been seen by your fish losses... :(
 
Its a scat. Mine used to nip some fins of my fish.

Lol at the Goldfish with all caps.
 
yeah.. the first week for my scats are very difficult.. 4 out of 5 died within the first week.. and only one survived.. it will be turning 1 month with me next week.. hope it survives..

and also, it likes to nip some of my fronts fin.. but the fronts dont care.. hehe.. what are the best food i can give to my scat?
