your rhom is still at juvi stage so can be difficult to tell where it might came from just from appearance. once it grows larger we might be able to guess base on appearance.
A lot of rhoms are from Peru so it's very possible that it's from Peru but there are different variants even from Peru. Sometimes if you fish two rhoms out from the same spot they could appear to be somewhat different.
take a look at the link below, it gives you a better idea.

Hi, what size is your rhom? proper diet and excellent water parameters will aid the growth, proper space will help out too. depends on size, it's not necessary to feed it multiple times daily. sometimes it'll make the fish become fat and unhealthy rather than aiding it's growth.
here's a good thread to read regarding food for your piranha.

if you have other questions you can start a new thread so it'll be easy for us to see and to help you. happy piranha keeping :)

at that size you can feed it a little more frequent, maybe 2-3 times a day, when it gets larger you can start to cut back on the feeding portion or extend the time between feedings. good water parameters (ammonia, nitrite, nitrate levels) and good space will also help with the growth.
I'll pm you regarding how to start your own thread.
