Ok, i have made a couple posts in other threads trying to id a veija and i would say something along the lines of Fenestratus x Coatzacoalcos. I recieved some from a vendor that got a bunch of hybrids crossed by what i mentioned above. The Hybrids i had grew very fast and looked identical to the pics above. and im sure since the vendor is close in proximity to shark aquarium that whoever gave the vendor the hybrids may have well givin them to shark aquarium. I dont have any pics and i sold them to a friend but he was aware of the cross. Either way i was impressed with how they looked. and they were pretty aggressive too

1st is almost definitely a fenestratus, possible X. I have one that use to look exactly the same till he grew (and grew, and grew...). Got him from a breeder who sells amazing vieja, with every batch of tidlers in a tank next to their parents.

don't know about number 2.

Fene's are Ooorsome cichlids, if a little temperamental :screwy:

:ROFL: Almost definitely.... possible cross.... In the same sentance?? almost only counts in a game of horseshoes;) Sorry I couldnt help myself. I truly belive what the OP has is a hybrid and Fenestratus would be one of the crosses.
