mine grew really slowly due to eating leftovers, but since I got snakeheads and the gravel has been full of bloodworms he's almost doubled in size in 5-6 month. Its a very common fish but my nr 1 favourite since its eating poo, scraps and never stops moving. (it kinda looks like a tiny fat seal)
