Please ID this cichlid

I met a guy today with about 100 of these fish for sale at $7.50. I was wondering what it is. So let me know your thoughts.

I BELIEVE it is an Electric Blue Cichild. Only because I was looking at them at Petsmart : http://www.petsmart.com/product/index.jsp?productId=3954158 Then again they might be mislabeled but I dont think so

of note is that this fish and some others in the tank were between 5" and 6"

Not an electric blue but most likely a huge cobalt blue african. He's a big boy.

Looks like a male auratus I think females are yellow and black like a bumble bee.. Definately from Lake Malawi and looks like a mbuna.

Lol, that is an easy one. Melanochromis Chipokae . They're one of the more aggressive africans. $7.50 is a good deal for the size of it

btw, you should of posted this thread under the "African Rift Lake Cichlids" section of the forums. People there would of been able to identify it much quicker and accurately
