Hey guys im still around in the flowehorn hobby even though im now at college! My dad is taking care of one back at home.

Just want to ask any opinions
of sex?
and of type? It was an import.

This picture was taken 4 months ago and it now 2 inches longer and really stocky and big. But it acts femininly so i guess im jsust assuming from that and it had a large tube extended rubbing on gavel last night.

any opnions?

That is a sweet fish I love the finnage!!! Female for sure. Are you gonna breed her?
 
Is blue noe, i will have to take pictures in a couple weeks when im am back home. guess like i was right with guessing female.
ight try to pair her up with someone else
 
i have crushed coral in the tank right now. Should i switch it out for colored gravel? or leave as so?

Hoping to upgrade to a 55 or 75 and will start looking for a male for her, might start posting up options that i see at my workplace :)
 
It all depends if you want to see an improvement in colors or not ;]
 
zz malau. It is likely female because of the spot in the top dorsal fin but that's not always 100% true. Unless it laid eggs for you already I wouldn't be positive it's a female. I would just leave the crushed coral if you plan on moving her later and go for some mixed color gravel later.
 
Is it worth trying to pair up with a Thai silk? I just set up a saltwater tank so money directed to the hobby will be pretty much going for that cause but i have a nice one i could grab. ( as well as a fertile thai silk laid eggs female) but that is going over board :)
