Hi to @ll, please help me to identify my fish, I acquired it as "mayan cichlid", but now he seems to be a kind of tilapia, what do you think about?

Thanks in advance

color is throwing me off. probably a normal tilapia, definitely not the color of a amphilophus.

Interesting but I have no clue.

Can not help you with this one.

Agree with Tilapia being the pigs of the fish....In California, Tilapia are used as filters for the commercial fish farms grown in the deserts........The Tilapia are put in the tanks where the water drained from the prized fish the farm is growing...The Tilapia litteraly eat the fish waste and whatever is being flushed from the main tanks...........
