Sure saying he'll get a bigger tank is an easy answer and sounds great, but these larger tanks are often times not provided. If he actually provides this larger tank...that would be great, but there isnt much help that can be given here until that is taken care of.

Im sorry people in the past have made you think this way about fish keepers but its not how I keep my fish. I have breeding pairs that live in their own 3ft tanks with nothing annoying them. I do absolutely everything I can to make sure my fish are healthy and well cared for. So maybe next time dont jump to conclusions about people on this forum. But on the flipside to that I know that there are people out there that just buy things cause they look small and then dont know what to do with them later on but I am not one of those people!

that is good to hear. but in most cases of people getting a gator they have no idea what they are getting theirselves into. and this either results in a unhealthy fish, stunted growth, or they release it into the wild. just about every time i have saw someone with a gator on here something bad always happens. which is why we always jump to conclusions about people with gators. just make sure that you have the proper housing for him when the time comes and if you cant find someone that can. cuz i would hate to see something happen to such a beautiful gator. BTW nice fish.

Wow, AUD 300 impulse buy ^^ I am sure you gonna take care of it (after paying that much ... over here a 6" gator costs like 40 AUD or less ...the prices in Oz are ridiculous to say the least). It is a very fun fish to have (you won't regret it ... well, may be the feeding bill lol).
