Please ID this 'mixed' cichlid

The sales people and the customers at PetSmart couldn't exactly ID this. We pretty much agreed to guess that it must be a mix of something. It was picked on by all fish, no matter which tank they tried him in. They think it might be a JD and Midas mix ? Or this'n that ! Please tell me what you think. TIA.

looks kinda like a placidochromis milomo but really hard to tell with those pics

Its an Amphilophus of some kind meaning its a CA Cichlid and not an African Cichlid
