Please ID this Ray

This is the ray on AquaBid being sold for $25 as a "Teacup"....of course. The pictures the guy sent me aren't great, but in the second one you can see that it does have a very faint pattern. You may have to enlarge it to see it. Also....does it look healthy? In all the pictures I can see the pelvic bones, but overall it doesn't look extremely underweight.

I think at that price its worth the risk as it would prbably get feeding again.

The guy said it is eating well....my guess is that he may only be feeding it once a day, or just not enough. We all know rays are in a constant feeding mode and need alot of food.

My guess was retic, but i'm just a novice.

if you do buy it, be prepared to feed it 2-3 times a day, in large buffet quantities or blackworms or bloodworms, or shirmp, or prawns. He might not last too much longer in that state

Im pretty positive it is a retic. Better condition then most at LFS. Looks like a good deal to me!
