Can anyone help me ID my new PB. I bought from lfs just as peacock bass. Thanks for help!

More than likely a hybrid occel/mono.
Good quality bass generally come w/ a price tag.
 
My kelberi looked like that at that same size. Kind of hard to tell I guess when they're that size.

Just one was $30 at my LFS. Cichla are hard to get where I live.

In Hawaii it seems worse. You have to know the right people to get some. I paid $70 each for my kelberi at 4 inches. I've seen people selling Orinos around $30 for that size so it seems about right but you never really know sometimes. Whatever they are they look healthy and I'm sure they will turn out great looking too.

30$ for a fish that will provide YEARS of entertainment and fun is nothing. Think about it.
I have been meaning to get bass myself for awhile but my 210 will come up to small in the long run.
