ok so i got a clay pot from home depot. now how to i clean it? is there some special procedures that i should include or something when cleaning the pot??
What I do to the clay is soak it into warm water for 24 hours. some I don't go through this process. But either way I don't think it will hurt your fh. Bout your question earlu=ier If you can get hand on a red dragon or gm it will be a good mix. but that's just my prefernces or maybe a red texas male? only if you want red pearly fish. GL!
I believe it to also be Thai Malau as well as yes it looks female. Very nice fish I might add real good breeding stock there the pearls are very defined and well backed with red. You should pick a nice good grade male and I think you will be please with the result.
if you want it to lay eggs placed a male FH with divider(so they would not fight) for my experience about 2weeks it layed eggs.
