please identify this cichla

the cichla itself have a golden/ yellowish base colour with blueish metalic colour layer all over the body

the adipose fin, with orange on the lower adipose fin near the body and bluish in the edge of adipose (look at the 1st pic and 2nd pic in above post)

hem...i have one of those. but i'm sure they're not mono/ocell..the tail is so way different from mono (in my opinion).

ah for me...any kind of peabass he'll turn out to be, i'm still lucky to have him :grinno:
 
That is not Mono/ocell. Period. Do you know where in Brazil it was caught?

to me they look like shark Aquarium Yellow's of a few years ago......:naughty:

atleast this is uncommon chicla cos no one can identify those chicla for sure. but let hear for more opinions. hehhehe :D

the brazil exporter didnt know where the fish was caught

i think they bought the fish from local fisherman

the exporter told me that the fishes were coleceted along with s. spilopleura and p. striolatus

got anyone have a clue from where this fish was caught?
