To add a little more to this weather issue, I will be moving back to Phillips,WI this Spring. I miss the trees, lakes, wildlife and mountains. My brother's wanted to come and get me moved back home 2 weeks before Thanksgiving, but my parents said no. They didn't want to risk us boys getting hurt on the highways in the process of getting me back home, do to unsafe road conditions. I had to agree with my parents, but my younger brothers were not too happy with that idea.

The first day of Spring is suppose to be around March 20th, 2011, I think. It's not that far off Liz, hang in there and maybe it'll be gone before you know it. In the mean time, keep your snow shoes handy, bundle up real good and go for short walks to a neighbor's house for a visit, if cabin fever is getting to you.
thanks David.. i just recieved this hahaRR CROSSING in North Dakota

You can (hear) almost (see) the train, but you can't see the track!
This was taken at a crossing near Donnybrook, North Dakota, about 40 miles northwest of Minot on US 52.

We need to stop thinking about snow!:nilly: Let's think GREEN:D : green grass, green leaves on the huge maples, huge pines with green needles, beautiful bushes and flowers all with shades of green in between. Think positive :D = green! I just keep reminding myself, SPRING'S COMING :headbang2.
the only thing i can think of green is money... or green with envy.. greenies for the dogs haha... think green.. i am trying.

Im so glad the next ten days are going to be in the 60s

Hey where do the horses go? There is so much snow.... They stay in the barn?
thanks for asking.. yes they are in the barn...:D

Liz send some of that snow out to tahoe please. We started the season out w/ a record breaking year. We even had power outages due to heavy snow breaking trees and power lines. But now it seems as if winter is gone. We are usually gettn quite a bit of snow at this time of year. But since jan 1st we have had about 4 inches of snow. It seems as if winter is over and spring is already here in the Mountains of California. We have had numerous days...bout a month of 50-60 degree weather when it should be winter and snowy. So if your tired of the snow we'd be more than happy to trade you weather :)
