can aimara be kept in a 45"x45" tank?

I'd say width ok, but the fish is capable of getting up to and well over 36". I suppose it could just spin on it's axis Otherwise, you're probably looking at a 9'/10' long x4' wide tank at a bare minimum for a fully grown aimara.

For reference, the monster Aimara posted in the media section (somewhere below this thread...) i believe is in a 600g tank or is about to be upgraded to a 600g tank.

Thought I would share my red wolf fish. Got from tropical fish distributors. He is doing great. He jumped out of the tank about a week ago but seems to be doing great. Was missing some tail when I got him but it seems to be growing back.

He is in the tank with a pretty big black mystery snail which he never bothers. Currently feeding on feeders, nightcrawlers and pellets. There is also drift wood and live plants. The piece of slate is in there to hold the wood down for now. Running a AC50 for filteration as well.
