My first had the same eye issue as yours. It won't clear, It's caused by some sort of eye fluke. It won't effect it long term.

I think it is surface too as both the mouth & eye was injuried during catching.
It struggle in the net trying to force tru. Well I did a search for xingu some might go to 16~ 18" but even only till 14" will be not bad quite a monster.
 
i got my little Gold Wolf a few months ago and was a little worried about putting him in straight into the 160g. However, a few months on and he's flourishing and already grown an inch and a half.

I see the gold wolf resembles the red one.

I am picking one up in a couple of weeks. Until then there is a member called Norbert on the 'other' forum WW's. that has some very good pics of his at about 15". It really is a very good specimin.
